Fran Jacobs was born in 1977 in London. She has one brother, Daniel, and two parents, Rita and Geoffrey, who have been married over thirty years. Fran graduated University in 2002 with a Masters in Ancient History and now lives in Swansea, South Wales, with her cats, Megaera, Claudia and Mr Kitty. She is an avid fantasy reader, as well as writer, loves horror films, particularly those with zombies, dancing, and the darker side of history. She also enjoys the gym, swimming, and walking, and uses those passions to raise money for charities, by doing the annual Race For Life, for Cancer Research.
Fran has been writing for as long as she can remember and her first series, Ellenessia's Curse, a dark fantasy trilogy, has been published with Writer's Exchange Ebooks, and some of her previously published short stories are available in a collection, Rules of War and Other Stories.
